About Lavington Arts
We are an enthusiastic group of local people committed to promoting, encouraging and supporting the creative and performing arts within the local community. Our first big project was the 'Parish Map', a community art project. Since June of this year we have also brought a number of other events including the 'Art Exhibition and Auction' at the Workman's Hall; 'Lavington Community Market' at the Green Dragon public house; and the 'Jazz A Belles' concert at the secondary school. We are planning a full programme of events for the coming year which we hope will include more art, dance, drama, music, poetry and much more, including events especially for a younger audience. We welcome new members, ideas and opinions.
Market Lavington and West Lavington are two villages situated on the edge of the Salisbury Plain, near Devizes in Wiltshire.
